Lady Gaga opened the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards with the song “You and I”, dressed as her male alter ego, Joe Calderone. She stayed dressed this way throughout the entire program, even as she accepted the awards that she won. Lady Gaga Received a total of two awards at the VMAs, for Best Female Video and Best Video with a Message for her song “Born this Way.”

He and the rest of America will be treated to a full-on animated extravaGaganza, complete with a Gaga Express train powered by a giant flame-shooting bustier, ample wardrobe changes, and a kiss with… Marge! “I play a little bit of a slut,” quips Gaga. “The apple doesn’t fall far from my artistic tree.”
The Simpsons producers say they were impressed by her voice-acting range and ad-libbing skills, and are proud to include her in their storied guest ranks. “Since the very beginning, I’ve always wanted to have on the most iconic personalities of our time, and she’s it,” declares series creator Matt Groening. As for the challenge of properly animating such a colorful character, he deadpans, “It’s very hard to top reality with her, but I’m sure we’ll come up with something that is going to be as improbable as her usual wardrobe.” Sums up exec producer Al Jean: “For the first time in the history of The Simpsons, we are honored to have on a show business legend who is younger than our show.”
“Lisa Goes Gaga” airs in spring 2012 as part of the show’s 23rd season, which launches Sept. 25. Gaga will open the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 28.

Lady Gaga’s 3rd single The Edge of Glory reached the first position of the Billboard’s Dance Club chart this week. The track becomes the ninth no.1 single. Just Dance was the only single that did not top this Billboard chart.

Lady gaga performs “You and I” on “The View”. It was an amazing performance as always. The set was so beautiful, with the piano matching her outfit, hat and glasses. She looked so stylish and amazingly gorgeous.

Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi video, as elaborate a plotline as it had, was just the appetizer to her cinematic climax of 2009′s Bad Romance, which won Video of the Year at the 2010 VMAs. As an android queen with an evil streak in the Francis Lawrence-directed clip, Gaga struts around a Balkan bathhouse in Alexander McQueen couture, asserting her “free bitch”-ness in the end
Legendary performer Tony Bennett celebrates a milestone birthday on August 3rd when he turns 85. But “the best is yet to come” with news that the singer has just completed recording with Lady Gaga and Aretha Franklin for his highly anticipated DUETS II CD adding to a celebrated list of artists previously announced including Michael Buble, Norah Jones, John Mayer, Queen Latifah, Carrie Underwood, Amy Winehouse and many others.
Lady Gaga joined Tony for a rendition of the Rogers and Hart song, “The Lady Is A Tramp” and Bennett and Franklin collaborated on the Alan and Marilyn Bergman classic, “How Do You Keep The Music Playing.” Both tracks were recorded live in the studio in New York City at the end of last month.
